A Book and Lifestyle Blog

About Me

I am 17 years old and have a passion for reading and writing. So I decided to create TeenBookHoots: a book blog purely to try to show people the magical element of reading. It really is breathtaking to find a perfect book for yourself, that you can easily escape into, so you're ready to have your own adventures in any world you want to.

I write book reviews on TeenBookHoots, so people can read them and hunt for books they really enjoy. Using TeenBookHoots as a creative outlet, I try to write about things that matter to me- so my voice can be heard in a tiny corner of the internet. I review mostly YA contemporary books in hope to spread my passion of reading to everyone!

Blogging is one of the best things I've ever done, I love everything about book blogging and the whole community. I balance it out with my school work and exams and I wouldn't change it for the world.

I've been running TeenBookHoots single- handedly since the summer of 2013, I hope to keep developing my blog to make it the best it can be.

Quick facts about me:

1. It is my dream to become a journalist, publicist or an author when I am older. I want to write everyday.
2. My favourite authors are: Louise O'Neill, Lisa Heathfield and Lauren James.
3. Since I was small, I have always had my head in my book, and I don't plan to lift my head out of one anytime soon!
4. I also enjoy cycling, yoga, baking healthy treats, and doing creative things.

  3. I love love love your blog! In particular, your review on the potion diaries is amazing! Your reviews have made me want to add a lot more books to my reading stack that is already too big for it's own good lol.

P.S. Have you read 'Looking for Alaska' by John Green? I noticed that you said he was one of your favourite authors and Looking for Alaska is my favourite novel by him so I thought I would recommend it just in case. :)

    1. Thank you Kim: that means a lot! Looking for Alaska is at the top of my reading pile, (which is also too big for it's good.) I can't wait to read it! :)
