The New Year is always a time of reflection for me, and I felt that setting some blog goals was definitely a good post to start 2017 off. In the last couple of months I have been slacking when it comes to blogging, so I wanted objectives I can look back to at the end of this year (a scary thought) to see if I have achieved them,
Making More Time
I am currently doing four A-Levels, and although I love my subjects, they are extremely time consuming. As TeenBookHoots is a book blog, I want to deliberately set aside time for reading, as I never have enough time to do it when I am busy. Also, I want to do exactly the same for blogging: it's so easy to get caught up in school or work that you let your passions fly out of the window. I want my love of reading and writing to be at the forefront of 2017.
I adore writing book reviews and creating bookish content, but I want to branch out into other areas. I don't want to be restricted by just running a book blog, as I have a lot of things to say on so many different topics. Watch this space...
Growing My BookTube Channel
In November, I finally took the jump into filming my first video for my BookTube Channel, and I am so glad I did. I had a great reception for it, and I want to create so much more content and grow it alongside this blog. If you are reading this and wondering whether you should create your own blog or YouTube Channel- do it. Once you get going, you will realise it was a very good decision. If there is any content you want me to make on my YouTube or Blog, please let me know!
