3 YEAR BLOGOVERSARY & HITTING 50,000 PAGE VIEWS

As I am writing, I have just surpassed 50,000 page views on TeenBookHoots. I also realised the other day that July is my blogoversary month. I can't honestly believe I have been blogging for 3 years- it seems like minutes ago that I had the idea to start my own book blog.  As you can see, my blog has gone through many stages of designing, and has come quite far from the beginning of 2015!

At thirteen years old, I decided I would try it- with the thought that I may end up getting bored and giving up. It is so mind boggling to think that people read my reviews and posts: I would never have thought that my minuscule corner of the internet would go past 1000 views, let alone to 50,000. To some it might seem nothing, but it my head this was a big milestone that I have reached.

Blogging has really given much more confidence in so many aspects- that I have taken on in my day to day life. It really is an amazing thing for people who want to write to do: you are constantly getting practice every day, while doing what you love. I want to document on this post that I have got the first 1050 words of my novel done too- it shows that one thing leads to another. Blogging has given me the push to write my novel that would have never been written otherwise.

Thank you to all of the people that have supported my blog from the beginning; and the experiences I have had and friends I have made because of it. If you are thinking of becoming a book blogger, (or a blogger of another sort), and are too overwhelmed, just dive in and do it. You won't regret it, I promise. The blogging community as a whole will welcome you with open arms.

What did you feel like when you reached a personal milestone with your own blog?
