SYNOPSIS
Kellan Turner is not the golden boy everyone thinks he is and Romy Grey knows that for a fact. But when she speaks up, she is branded a liar. Telling the truth has cost her everything, because no one wants to believe a girl from the wrong side of town.

But when news of Kellan assaulting another girl gets out, the cost of staying silent might be more than Romy can bear. All The Rage examines the shame and silence inflicted upon young women in a culture that refuses to protect them.

'All The Rage' will definitely be sitting in my top books of 2016, without a shadow of doubt. With the novel set in a small town in America, and based around the heart-rending parts of rape culture, Summers writes so seamlessly and her writing is controlled perfectly- I could not put this down.

Romy Gray is constantly in emotional turmoil, as nobody in her town will believe her when she tries to explain that Kellan Turner shouldn't be as favoured as he is. She becomes completely isolated and disliked by everyone in her school, as she becomes labelled as a liar: when all she has done is tell the truth.

When an unexpected event happens, that could affect many peoples lives, it could all rely on Romy shouting even louder: not letting the truth go unnoticed.

I adored books that explore certain issues to make people feel uncomfortable. That feeling is the feeling that make people stand up and do something about it: Summers has done just that. Her characters are so developed and refined, that readers can watch Romy go through her journey, and the different emotions that go with it. Other characters, that were not the main protagonists, fitted into the story very well. Certain characters were connected, and pieces slowly came together to see each of their stories and reveal their bonds.

The plot was fast paced, easy to pick up again, letting you fall straight back into this story. An easy 5/5: 'All The Rage' will be a firm favourite of mine for a very long time.
