BOOK REVIEW- A GODDESS IN WAITING

TITLE:  A Goddess in Waiting
AUTHOR: Sofia Kyriacou
PUBLISHER:  Createspace
AGE GROUP: 13+
RATING:  4.5/5
SOURCE: Given by publisher in exchange for an honest review.

A Goddess in Waiting isn't usually what I would read, but I have to say I was very impressed! It is a non fiction book, a guide for young girls and women. Sofia Kyriacou gives out some fantastic and unique advice.

Normally, when you read a guide book, they all normally have the same advice, given in a patronizing way. But this one was very different- concise and witty would be two words I would say to sum it up. There is advice on: weight issues, self confidence, boyfriends and being positive.

This book was around 50 pages long, so I can't give it a long review, but I did enjoy how short the book was. I think it is a great book, that every young female should read, to change their perspectives on society and the way they think about themselves. Young females need a wise big sister to guide her through her teenage years, and this book definitely ticks that box. Sofia Kyriacou can easily empathise with her readers- which makes the novel even better. 'A Goddess in Waiting' is definitely 4.5/5 hoots, I would have loved it to have been slightly longer, simply to absorb more fabulous advice!
