RATING: 5/5

Caleb, Tris, Four, Peter and Marcus head to Amity headquarters, where some more Abnegation are staying. However, Amity decides that any one can stay with them, as long as they are peaceful. But traitors from Dauntless and Erudite soon come to the Amity headquarters looking for all the Abnegation... All of the group end up getting lead to the factionless, and lead to Four's mother Evelyn, the factionless leader, (who is believed to be dead.) Evelyn wants to take charge.

Tris and Four end up travelling to the Candor headquarters, but what happens to them when they get there? What truth will finally come out? The Candor get attacked by Dauntless traitors, and people are shot with a new stimulation serum, but the Divergent are not affected, but still end up getting themselves captured How will they escape?

What will Tris do when she finds discovers a stimulation, that makes people sacrifice themselves, until one of the Divergent goes to the Erudite headquarters? Will she sacrifice herself to save others? Will she put everything at risk? All of the stimulations are being controlled by Jeanine Matthews, the leader of Erudite. Will Tris loose everyone she loves?

Insurgent is a fantastic, gripping and fast pace book. It kept me on the edge of my seat, and I was  not able to put it down. The character development and plot is phenomenal; and to me, it was much better than the first book in the Divergent series. I rate it 5/5 hoots, an amazing read for teenagers and young adults alike.
